The 2025-26 season ran primarily on Assists and Points props. The direction audit identified a systematic OVER bias that suppressed win rate. The 2026-27 model targets Shots on Goal — lower variance, cleaner edge, better calibration.
The new primary market. Shot volume is more consistent than scoring, driven by ice time, power-play time, and shot attempt rate. The model evaluates DraftKings O/U lines against historical shot rates per opponent.
Goals + Assists combined. Modelled on line combinations, power-play role, and matchup defensive quality. Tighter edge threshold applied versus shots.
Every signal is edge-classified before emission. SNIPER ≥7% edge, CORE ≥4%, LAB ≥2%. Only SNIPER and CORE signals emit by default — LAB available via bot command.
